I recently watched Mel Gibson's Remake of the Monty Python classic "The Life of Brian" It really wasn't anywhere near as funny as the original.

Why does Hollywood have to keep doing awful remakes of classic movies?

I finally managed to get hold of this book, published by the Stationery Office, at 834 pages it's pretty substantial, but it should shed some light on where all that gold went and answer some questions about alleged Allied/Vatican involvement...
